BA (Economics)

  • In line with the New Education Policy (NEP) of India, ICFAI School of Social Sciences now freshly offers a 4-year BA Economics (Honours), and a 4-year BA Economics (Honours with Research) UG Programs along with the existing 3-year BA Economics.
  • These two fresh, career-focused programs are campus-based, and involve full-time study.
  • All three programs are designed to transform students into well-trained economists with a firm grip and a clear understanding of the fundamentals and nuances of economics.
  • All students will have the option to exit with a 3-year Economics UG degree.
  • Likewise, students who initially choose to pursue the 3-year BA program will be permitted to opt for any one of the two 4-year programs later.
  • A few students from the first batch (Class of 2022) and second batch (Class of 2023) of the 3-year BA Economics UG degree have gained admission for higher studies in reputed institutions in India and abroad, including Madras School of Economics, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, TERI Climate Science and Policy, Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Pune, University of Greenwich, London, University College Dublin, University of Sydney, New Zealand University etc.
