About The Program

Considering the changes taking place, ICFAI Business School, a pioneer in management education for nearly three decades is launching two new undergraduate programs along with regular BBA (Hons.)

• BBA (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science)
• BBA (Cloud Computing & Cyber Security)

These programs are uniquely designed to equip students desirous of pursuing careers in technology and management oriented roles. Students will gain required knowledge and skills in areas such as data science, cloud computing, cyber security, data analysis, data visualization, data driven decision making, management reporting and operating in virtual environments. Students get the best inputs – Technology and Management.

IBS has modeled and aligned its Undergraduate programs with the New Education Policy 2020 guidelines suggested by the University Grants Commission, Govt of India. It is offering these programs based on a flexible structure. Students have the opportunity to pursue a four year honors program and a four year honors with research program. Those desirous of completing their education at the UG level in three years will be eligible for a three-year degree. In all the programs students have to meet the prescribed criteria for graduating. Students pursuing the four year with or without honors can look forward to careers in different management and technology domains as well as go on for higher studies in India and abroad including PhD, in top-rated institutions in India and abroad.

Duration:

3 years / 4 years (with and without research)

Eligibility:

Pass in Class XII or equivalent examination with an aggregate of 50% and above marks (any discipline) with English as medium of instruction.

Program Structure:

• BBA (Hons.) Program is divided into 8 Semesters spread over four years.
• Students can opt to exit after the third year with a BBA Degree.
• The 4-year Program consists of core management (including electives) minor in IT courses, ‘inter-disciplinary courses’. Ability Enhancement, Skill Enhancement courses and 4 Value Added Courses.
• Students undertake Summer Internship Program, after the second year for a period of 8 weeks to ‘get corporate’ exposure.
• On completion of third year of BBA, the program gives a choice to the students to opt for Research Project in Management, that concludes with submission of Dissertation. Such students will be awarded BBA (Hons. with Research).

Admission Modalities

The Admission modalities are with reference to the BBA - 3 years; BBA (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science) - 3 years; BBA (Cloud Computing & Cyber Security) - 3 years. These Programs are offered by ICFAI Business School, Bengaluru an Off -Campus Center of the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE), Hyderabad.

Eligibility

Pass in Class XII or equivalent examination with an aggregate of 50% and above marks (any discipline) with English as medium of instruction.

The applicant should fulfill the minimum age requirements as prescribed by the respective board through which the applicant has appeared for the qualifying examination If an applicant is found ineligible even at a later date, after admission into the program, his/her admission will be cancelled. All admissions will be subject to verification of facts from the original certificates / documents of the applicant. The decision of the Admissions Committee regarding eligibility of any applicant shall be final.

The selected applicants will be given Provisional admission letters on the day of Interview. The provisional admission is subject to payment of admission fee and semester fee.

Applicants who have appeared for Class XII (or equivalent) examination and awaiting results are also eligible to apply provided they complete their examinations (including practical examinations) before July 26, 2024. The admission of applicants will, however remain provisional until they produce marksheets establishing their eligibility. The last date for submitting the proof of Class XII (or equivalent) marksheet is September 18, 2024, failing which the provisional admission will automatically stand cancelled.

How to Apply

Interested students can apply through any one of the following methods:

1. Online Application
   Applicants can apply online by filling up the Application Form available at www.ifheindia.org/ibs and make payment of ₹ 600 towards the cost of an application using Credit / Debit Card (Visa / Master Card) / Internet Banking through secure internet payment gateway. Applicants applying online should upload their passport size color photograph while filling the Online Application. The Prospectus will be sent to such applicants.
2. Download of Application Form Applicants can fill their details online and download the Application Form from www.ifheindia.org/ibs and send it (on or before May 31, 2024) to the Admissions Office along with the Bank Demand Draft of ₹ 600 drawn on a Scheduled Commercial Bank towards the cost of the application in favor of “IFHE-Prospectus Fee A/c BBA-Bengaluru” payable at Bengaluru.
3. Fill the Application Form Applicants can fill in the Application Form given on page No 3 and send it to the Admissions Office.

All applicants are mandatorily required to indicate their e-mail ID, as all important information relating to the admission process will be intimated to the applicants by e-mail. Similarly all applicants are required to send their communication by e-mail only to: bbaadmissions@ifheindia.org

Selection Process

The selection for the program is made based on merit and Personal Interview. Eligible applicants are required to apply for the program using the Application Form (given on page 3). Final selection will be made based on personal interview and past academic record.

Fee Structure

Selected candidates are required to pay the fee as per the schedule given below:

Caution Deposit:

Students of BBA Program are required to pay a caution deposit of ₹ 10,000 along with the first semester fee. The caution deposit will be refunded without interest after adjusting dues, if any, to the students on completion of the program. Caution Deposit is not adjustable against Program Fee and other dues.

B. Merit Scholarships based on Semester-wise Performance: Up to 10% of the students of the batch will be awarded merit scholarships based on the Semester-wise performance in the BBA Program (Details presented in the table given below). These scholarships are awarded in addition to the scholarships based on the past academic record.

Bank Loans

Several public and private sector banks provide educational loans to applicants. Applicants seeking educational loans may approach the respective bank branches. The Financial Aid Cell at IBS facilitates the bank loan process wherever required.
