Internships at ICFAI Tech are designed as structured educational and career development opportunities, providing students with practical, domain-specific experience. These short-term, supervised assignments focus on specific tasks or projects within defined timelines.
The primary objectives of our undergraduate internship program are to:
- Provide students with invaluable exposure to industrial environments, which cannot be replicated in a classroom setting, thereby fostering industry-ready professionals.
- Offer opportunities to acquire, understand, and refine real-time technical and managerial skills essential for professional success.
- Expose students to current technological advancements relevant to their respective fields of study.
- Cultivate a conducive environment for knowledge acquisition and its practical application in professional settings.
ICFAI Tech employs a two-tiered internship model. The first internship, lasting approximately two months, is offered after the second year of the B.Tech, BCA, or B.Sc. programs. The second, a more comprehensive internship of 5.5 months, is conducted during the final year of the B.Tech. program. Additionally, students pursuing thesis work have the option to undertake it during either the 7th or 8th semester of the B.Tech. program, under the guidance of ICFAI Tech faculty.
